St Salvator’s Hall
St Salvator’s Hall, built in 1930, was extensively refurbished in 1994. Most of the rooms have pleasant views overlooking St Andrews Bay to the north or lawns in the quadrangle to the south.
The residence is set back from North Street. Access is adjacent to the western side of the Younger Hall. There is very limited car parking here.
The residence has 82 single and 24 twin bedrooms giving a total capacity of 130 and a single capacity of 106. All have wash handbasins; other bathroom facilities are shared. They are serviced daily, Monday to Saturday, and are provided with towels and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary ingredients are provided in the bedrooms.
Each has a telephone, permitting calls at no charge throughout the University network and outside calls using a pre-payment card, which can be purchased in the residence. The bedroom telephones also directly receive incoming calls and their numbers are displayed on the telephones for the convenience of guests.
