John Burnet Hall

Situated on the main A91 road into St Andrews, John Burnet Hall is a quarter of a mile from the town centre, the golf courses and the sea. It has limited car parking. There is no parking on the main road but guests arriving by car may stop in the driveway to unload and then move their cars to the adjacent free car park on the North Haugh.

The residence has 41 single and 33 twin bedrooms giving a total capacity of 107 and a single capacity of 74. All these rooms have wash handbasins, other bathroom facilities are shared. The adjacent building has 36 single en-suite bedrooms. Additional charges are payable for their use.  Each has a telephone, permitting calls at no charge throughout the University network and outside calls using a pre-payment card, which can be purchased in the residence. The bedroom telephones also directly receive incoming calls and their numbers are displayed on the telephones for the convenience of guests.

Tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary ingredients are provided in the pantries on each floor.

John Burnet features a number of large public rooms which can be used by conferences.
