Responsible Visitor Charter

We encourage all our guests to be responsible visitors:

• Save energy – switch off lights and close windows if heating is on
• Give the car a rest – use the local bus, walk or hire a bike
• Shop locally – look at the Green Folder located either in your apartment or in the foyer for information on local shops
• Recycle – there are many forms of recycling bins available at the various residences
• Compost – a small bin in the self-catering kitchens is provided for you to help us towards composting. Full details of what may be composted are listed on the bin
• Be water wise – turn off the tap when brushing your teeth and use towels wisely
• If you are attending a conference only print materials that are required and consider sharing a taxi when traveling to/from local train stations or airports
• Respect nature – help us to look after the landscape and wildlife by using footpaths and cycle-ways responsibly and not littering
