Home of Golf

Golf was first played in St Andrews around 1400. There are now seven links courses including the renowned Old Course and the new Castle Course.

All of the links courses are open to the public and their variety ensures that golfers of all standards can enjoy a round in the home of golf. For further information visit the St Andrews Links Trust's website: www.standrews.org.uk

Visitors to St Andrews can explore the history of golf at the British Golf Museum, located a stone's throw from the famous Royal & Ancient Clubhouse.
