Conference Venues

Our extensive range of conference venues are located throughout St Andrews and all are within walking distance of the historic town centre.

CAR PARKING

There are a number of public car parks in St Andrews and limited on-street parking within walking distance of all venues. Limited car parking is available at the Gateway for delegates attending events.

Both David Russell Apartments and New Hall offer free car parking facilities for guests. Parking permits are available from reception and should be displayed for the duration of your stay.

FOOD & DRINK

The University of St Andrews achieved Fairtrade University Status in April 2006 and fair trade tea and coffee are served at all conferences.

We are happy to cater for most special diets. Should you have any special dietary requirements please notify your conference organiser in advance.

ACCESSIBILITY

Whilst the majority of our venues are easily accessible, we do have a small number of historic venues that may not be suitable for individuals with restricted mobility. Please contact your conference organiser for information on the specific venue/s your event will be using.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

All guests must make themselves aware of the Fire Procedure notices, which are located throughout our venues. These notices contain information on the action to be taken in the event of discovering a fire, hearing the fire alarm and detail the designated emergency assembly areas. Guests will be notified of any scheduled fire alarm tests.

Local Amenities

St Andrews boasts a wide range of shops, banks, bars and restaurants all within walking distance of our conference facilities. Most of these are located in and around South Street and Market Street.
